This 2- day workshop covers all processes required to ensure that the project includes all the work required, and only the work required, to successfully complete the project. The students will learn the elements involved in requirements gathering, scope definition, verification and control. This course is 100% compliant with the Project Management Institute’s® (PMI’s®) current Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®).

Pre-requisite: Should at least have a basic Project Management concepts. 

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:

  • Learn the different techniques and tools in gathering requirements
  • Create a detailed project scope statement
  • Understand the techniques in determining and verifying key project deliverables
  • Create a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), which is the backbone of the project plan
  • To develop the ability to detect variances from the scope baseline and recommend corrective actions.
